Among all the organic hair products on the market right now, Giovonni is my favorite of them all.

Giovonni Cosmetic is the name of the website, but interestingly, they don't have any cosmetics, but have excellent hair care and body wash products.

The other day my wife and I were watching a dance show from the early '70's and were shocked.  Everyone was thin!  There it was; a whole room of thin, dancing people.  What in the world is going on?

Look around you and you will see the majority of people are overweight.  In the US, Europe, Asia and Latin America an epidemic of obesity continues unabated.  What is going on?

Merlot? Cabernet Sauvignon? Shiraz? Edging material? Some creative folks at the local community garden I volunteer for think so. The process is fairly simple. Fill empty wine bottles with common sand. Dig the trench or edging hole deep enough to accommodate the height you wish your decorative border to be. Finally, drop in the bottles and push firmly in place. You may wish to use a stick, string or garden hose as a guide for the bottles. I personally would be worried about the bottles breaking, but they definitely get an "A" for originality.

One of the most effective weeding tools I've discovered isn't for the garden at all... it's for carving wood or chipping paint! That's right folks - a wood chisel or paint scraper is as deadly as other weeding tools in my experience. It's especially effective for removing large weeds from your lawn as well. Before you start wreaking havoc on your crabgrass however, I must warn you - please wear thick padded gloves. If you're not careful, it'll give you a blister you won't forget for a few days. So, if you need to do some weeding, swing by the tool department instead. They won't know what hit 'em!

Fake Plastic Trees Vs. The Real Thing: Which One is More Eco-Friendly?

An article written on Planet Green by Tolly Moseley of Austin Texas, a day after Christmas.  It is quite interesting, so I clicked on the title and started to read the article.  The bottom line is, the article compares a real Christmas tree to a plastic tree; both sides,  pros and cons.  At the end of the article, it talks about renting a Christmas tree in a pot.

Speaking from my heart.  Delivering Happiness by Tony Hsieh is the best business book I've ever read.  I'm a book worm.  I'm known for reading business books.  I found business books that are entertaining while educational.  If you read Tony's Delivering Happiness book, you might enjoy it as much as I do.

I read how he learned his lessons at an early age from the mistakes he made as a kid entrepreneur and later as a teenage entrepreneur.

Today is a great day! It's the day that Tony Hsieh, CEO of Zappos, is launching his brand new book that he wrote called Delivering Happiness.  He is launching this great event across the wold via the World Wide Web LIVE via UStream and LIVE in person in NYC at the Hudson Hotel, 356 West 58th Street, New York, NY 10019

I received the book and have already read 22 pages.  I laughed and laughed.  I can easily associate with the many stories fromf Tony's childhood.  My first pet was a silk worm.  I too wanted to launch a business and sell worms like he did.  I can relate to so many of the stories that Tony has written in this book.  

I read the book out loud with my family listening to it, especially my teenage son who is graduating from High School this year.  He was giggling listening to some of the stories about the things Tony did when he was a child entrepreneur and as a teenager.  Funny!  It's a great book.

She's the beautiful and talented host of Good Morning Texas on WFAA. Amy Vanderoef has interviewed everyone who's anyone in Hollywood and has spent quite a bit of time basking in the glow of the bright lights herself.
